I’m pretty sure at least 50% of the users would go like “Well, okay, that was expected”. But pretending nothing changed and everything is related to user issues is simply a punch in a face. Especially given the fact that one of the moats was Claude Code, which… well… is not an unique moat anymore. It really comes down to clear & transparent communication. And while the “publicly visible senior devs” like Boris and Thariq are talking about /buddy, a rather junior dev (no offense) is pushed to the frontline to post flimsy excuses.
