I’m genuinely curious because none of the men I’ve ever known in my life are into this. I kind of understand why some guys would want a car that looks cool. But every time I see or hear a guy in a car loudly revving his engines for the whole neighborhood to hear, I just find it incredibly obnoxious and want to give them a dirty look. I’m not trying to sound rude or judgey, but do guys who do this genuinely think it will impress somebody? Most women I know, myself included, just find it incredibly annoying and want to stay as far away from these people as possible. Please help me understand why some guys do this. And just for the record, I know a lot of men who also find this really annoying. So I would really appreciate some response from people who actually do this. submitted by /u/Semipsychotic_nympho
