I was using the buddy pet system and I really liked the advice it was giving and it helped quite a few times. Plus it was cute to have an ornery buddy complaining. However, it causes plan usage to spike quite visibly. I disabled the buddy with /buddy off and now my usage is 1% to 2% for the same tasks I was burning through 10% - 20% before. Anthropic claims buddy’s don’t use your usage, but I think they have a bug in their usage calculation system and it does anyway. submitted by /u/almostsweet
