Hi everyone, I live in Kloten, Zurich and I have a question about my taxes. In 2024 and 2025 I paid around 3,700–3,800 CHF each year in provisional taxes. My income has stayed roughly the same (around 70k per year). Now for 2026, I received a provisional tax of about 2,400 CHF, which is significantly lower. I understand that provisional tax is only an estimate and that the final amount will be determined later, but the difference compared to previous years still surprised me, as it is significantly lower despite my income remaining about the sam Does this sound normal, or could there be a mistake in the calculation or in my tax declaration? (In the tax document, it shows a taxable income of around 45,000 CHF (and 50,000 for rate purposes), which seems lower than my actual salary.)
