Nearly every product sold in Switzerland including stuff made of chicken will contain Natriumnitrit/nitrat and/or Kaliumnitrit/nitrat (E249 - E252) which are for sure cancerous. The only relevant exception is usually Bratwurst. No one will tell you this (for me it was some random Tweet lol) and the supermarkets as well dont bother which is crazy in my opinion. We would never pull such a move concerning tobacco or asbestos but apparently cheap meat is holy. submitted by /u/Impossible_Basil1040
