To be honest, I’m still confused: Anthropic says on one hand we were not overcharged (as in “the usage is normal”), on the other hand they’re obviously adjusting usage (ban 3rd party harnesses). I am NOT criticizing any of that (did that in other posts), this post is really about me trying to understand if a new - drumroll please - era just begun. Evidence:
- Codex reduced usage obviously (according to r/codex )
- Claude reduced usage (source: me)
- Codex now has token-based team plans
- Gemini doesn’t need any further mentions here, I guess :D What I wonder is:
- will we see more expensive plans that are still subsidized?
- is Claude usage bugged or not? I just want to understand if this is the new normal submitted by /u/Firm_Meeting6350
