Hello guys, I feel like I’m dealing with a pretty common problem, but it’s still frustrating. I’m 26, and I used to be really active. I played soccer all the way through high school, and even after I stopped in university, I still stayed in decent shape without too much effort. But over the past three years since graduating, things have slowly changed. Long work hours, sitting at a desk all day, business trips, events, and endless business lunches have all added up. I’m 6 feet tall and have gone from about 160 lbs to around 190 lbs. I know that’s not extreme, but it doesn’t feel good, and I can see and feel the difference. What bothers me the most is that I do work out. I try to stay active, but it feels like it barely makes a difference because my eating and drinking habits are just not under control. It’s frustrating to put in the effort and not see the results I expect. I know what I’m supposed to do. Eat less, drink less, be more disciplined. But actually sticking to it is a different story. Mentally, it’s just really hard, especially with the lifestyle I have right now. I guess I’m just looking for real advice from people who’ve been through this. How did you actually make it work and stay consistent? submitted by /u/Competitive_Neat_708
