Hey guys, I’ve been doing some calculations and realized that if I value my time hourly and compare it to the time I spend on grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, and even the mental effort of deciding what to eat, that time could be much better invested elsewhere. In other words, I could use it to stay more consistent with things that matter more to me, like going to the gym, working, reading, etc. (insert whatever aligns with your goals). To give you some context, I currently spend on average around 125 CHF per week. My idea is: if I increase that budget by an additional 60–70 CHF, I could potentially save 12–14 hours per week. If I combine those with simple, easy to store options like greens, sardines, cottage cheese, yogurt, and fruit, that requires minimal cooking and cleaning, I think that would cover my needs pretty well while keeping things healthy and efficient I’m already to maintain a healthy diet, focusing on protein intake, whole foods, and overall nutrition. So food quality (whole foods only) and no oils and funny things stuff. So my questions are:
- What’s your take on this? Do you think this logic makes sense? 2. What services would you recommend? P.S. For anyone whose first thought might be that I should just cook and meal prep because I’m lazy or don’t know how to cook, that’s not the case. I actually enjoy cooking, but more as a hobby than a daily chore. In my case, I’d simply prefer to spend that time on other things. submitted by /u/Comfortable_Panda486
