Hey Guys, working right now as a IT server admin, I realized some of the most fun of my life when working was doing handyman work or Roofing work. Obviously hard work and I’m grateful I made it into a job that lets me use my mind more than my body. I find myself opting to pull cable and doing some kind of physical labor work just for the sake of working with my hands again. Thinking back on it there’s a reason why I went into the office and started help desk work instead sitting in the grueling hot sun and ending every day with sore joints and legs. I’ve found that being stationary for so long also gives health risk and take times I question if the career choices I made are worth it. Maybe I would have made more money going into construction here instead of Tech. Maybe? How do you fellas feel about the trades instead of corporate life? submitted by /u/SpamTherapy
