I’m 20 and my GF is 19, and we’ve been having some conversations about having a child. I know that already sounds crazy to a lot of people, but we’ve actually talked it through a lot and we both genuinely want it. For context, I’m currently working while also studying, and she’s in the same situation, she studies but also has a job. Financially, we’re not struggling. We’re not rich, but we can support ourselves and handle expenses decently. That’s part of why we even started considering this in the first place. The main issue is both of our parents are completely against it. They think we’re way too young and that we’re rushing into something that will change our lives forever. I guess what I’m asking is for advice from guys who’ve either been in a similar situation or became dads early. submitted by /u/titetits
