Let ironmen pk for loot converted into gp which can only be used to buy bonds, either GE value or just high alch value if that would be problematic in some way. You can already buy a bond on your main account and use it on your ironman, so I don’t immediately see how this could be abused. Trying to feed your ironman gp by sacrificing your main to it would just be a pointless extra step for something you can already do. I doubt the popularity of the ironman game mode is a huge contributor to the diminishing PvP scene, but it definitely doesn’t help that so many players exclusively play a game mode which provides no incentive to pk in the wilderness or on PvP worlds. This seems like a no brainer to me and I’m just not seeing any downside. It potentially expands the active PvP scene, increases demand for bonds which Jagex would appreciate, doesn’t cheapen the ironman game mode itself in any way, and doesn’t force players to engage with PvP if they don’t want to. submitted by /u/minaolensinaolet
