With lots of seemingly more and more bad news hitting us each day, it felt pretty damn refreshing for coverage a leak like the CC one from a few days ago to mostly center around the future things we can expect from AI, and general enthousiasm (apart from Anthropic themselves ofc). We’re at a point where it’s (to me) genuinly surprising for us to get an unsolicited look under the hood and not discover evil megacorporation contraptions lurking within and the scary revelations about them taking center stage in all news and discource. I guess I just felt like sharing that showerthought to at least try to acknowledge it when news like this doesn’t lead up to something horrible for a change. I’m aware we only got to see the source to CC and not everything behind it is in there, but it’s at least refreshing to have some excitement be the main reaction in this whole story. submitted by /u/Denhette
