went on a date after ages with someone I met online. first date was pretty plain with conversations about hobbies, travel, pets etc. few awkward silences in between, no flirting and just a simple side hug before we left. sparks didn’t fly but he seemed like a genuine person & he likely takes me for one (we are both looking for something serious) so ig we wanna give it another try. he did say he enjoyed my company but I feel he’s just being nice. I’m hoping to make the second date more interesting with less awkward pauses.
