I’ve been in a relationship for four years, and the only reason we argue is because he doesn’t stand up for me when his mother says unpleasant things or makes inappropriate jokes. His family seems to have an unusual level of jealousy, and it’s been bothering me a lot. What can I do to handle this better? Is it likely to get worse or improve after marriage?
