I have been a self-taught business owner from the ages of 14 to 23, building tech enabled services businesses. In my early stages, I hired developers to build out the tech stacks that I used to run my business, but in the past two to three years, I have shifted to building purely with AI. I have done well in building everything I need for my internal operations. However, ever since the addition of CLI tools, I have realized my lack of foundational knowledge of what I am actually doing is severely holding me back from taking my business to the next level. I am sure I could continue to generate seven figures a year by piecing things together and praying it works long enough to avoid a disaster, but I have decided to take a step back and for the first time in my life, I am enrolling in a college program to start the process of getting a CS degree at the age of 23. My goal is to establish a strong mathematical and formal CS foundation, specifically in data structures, algorithms, discrete math, and network architecture and to learn the why and how behind the systems I have already built. I have decided this is the best use of the next three years of my life. I would love some advice and or input. submitted by /u/gavv7174
