I am curious in a dumbed down version of what the source code leak actually means. I understand a few things Security issues, future repos can leverage weaknesses. We now know how claude code processes our requests? What is unclear to me is why people says this should mess up anthropics buisness, I mean they still train a LLM which is a task beyond most users due to sheer computational power needed, they still calibrate the vectors used for query and response. We are still sending our requests to be processed by data centers. I don’t see why their buisness should be upended. To be honest I wonder if in the long run this will simply benefit Anthropic because now they have 1000 free employees trying to outsmart them and giving them better solutions?
