read something today on quora and how true is it ?? Why are attractive men so rare? They aren’t. What has changed is how women evaluate and think.Particularly over the past 10 years, women have been repeatedly told that they’re all 10’s and they all “deserve” a man in the top 0.007% of the world population (6’2" or taller, built like Brad Pitt in Fight Club, salary above $300k, owns a home already, etc…). Every woman thinks she “deserves” Glen Powell with Tom Cruise’s bank account and anything else is beneath her. “Know your worth queen!” So when presented with a man who isn’t that, even though other men would say that he’s an attractive man, she looks down on him as unattractive. God forbid he is under 6’ tall and he makes under $100k a year. In her mind, he’s not even a man. You could show her a photo and her initial response is that he’s attractive, then tell her that he’s 5’9" or that he makes $60k a year and watch her go “ewwwww, no”. submitted by /u/ObviousBody3053
