I was walking home from a train station at night and around 7-10 teenagers started following me and surrounding me, saying things to me (I don’t speak the local language). I just said I don’t speak their language and told them I don’t have any cigarettes. One of them said in english “I follow you”. They followed me for a while but eventually stopped after I stopped responding. What would you do in this situation? Should I have just completely ignored them, or ran or what? I’m a guy, but not physically formidable; they were pretty much my size and there were a lot of them. submitted by /u/Accurate-Use-5049
