Is anyone else laughing at the sequence of events here? The timing is just way too convenient. Lets look at the timeline: We get a massive leak. They absolutely fumbled the PR response (as per). The on mass usage limits being reported that is impossible to ignore by now The model kinda degrading again (as per) Then out of nowhere: “Oh hey guys check out Mythos! It’s totally insane and powerful… but it’s too dangerous for you to touch, so we’re keeping it for ourselves. But look at these benchmarks! Source: Just trust me, bro.” It’s such a desperate attempt to save face, but does anyone actually believe this? Especially after the leak those prompt gateways they were caught building were obviously meant to prop Mythos up. If the model was actually as cracked as they claim they wouldn’t need to babysit it with that such guardrails just to keep it from falling apart. Its clear as day that it’s not the god-tier AI they’re pretending it is. I mean sure… we knew it was coming, but who wouldn’t see this and not think of it as an attempt to sweep the bad PR under the rug, just a week after all hell broke lose for them? Anyway I will believe it when I see it and as we heard it straight from the man himself Dario said that will not happen.
