Alright… so I met somebody sitting outside of CoX a few weeks ago. The guy has 7000+ CoX completions, we’ll call him Rich Scammer. We got in a discord call after he said “look there’s this guy dropping all this stuff outside ferox bank everything!” I was able to grab a whip and got killed, but it continued. He told me to come back to Ferox. There was a guy saying they were doing a Mr Beast giveaway (let’s call him Mule) and to show your expensive gear. I was screensharing with Rich Scammer on Discord and the Mule said “search bank for >25m gear”. After going through equipping a shadow, bowfa, etc. and him giving me a few mil, he then told me i needed to come out and attack “his guard” after banking everything. After doing that he traded me 4 divine pots & some telegrab runes. He told me to turn on “blue heart” prayer and drink pots until Redemption triggered. He then told me to equip items and step outside Ferox and telegrab items. The guy in the Discord call emphasized how you were not in the wilderness because the wilderness level was dashed out. We went back and forth and eventually he got tired of me and said some derogatory things about me then blocked me. Not posting RSN or Discord handle because I don’t think that’s allowed… but be aware this one seemed pretty complex. If allowed I will edit to post or I can share with mods if they would like. TL;DR Rich Scammer had Mule tell me to attack someone outside Ferox, try to get me to equip items while skulled and cross over the barrier into the wilderness all the while saying “yeah it’s safe because it’s not the wilderness”. submitted by /u/prompt_flickering
