I was trying to build a simple grouped timer on windows using Codex. I must’ve had back and forth with Codex like 20 times to get things right and it still couldn’t quite get what I really wanted. Claude did it in 3~4 takes and the quality is much higher. Did it take longer for it to code? yes, but the whole point of agentic coding is not micro managing the AI. Those that ‘left’ Claude for Codex, hows things working out for you? Am I doing something wrong with codex? submitted by /u/tnh34
