After 3 weeks of fighting against Claude Opus 4.6, because it ignores all rules, takes shortcuts at every opportunity, and can’t stop doing things different from my explicit rules, I finally gave Codex / GPT 5.4 a try in my desperation. It’s such a pleasure! Just a professional, doing exactly what it’s told. Asking for decisions and guidance. Not making arbitrary decision on its own. Just like Claude was, before they lobotomized it. I guess we’re gonna have to switch back and forth, depending on which one is acting as the professional at a given moment in time. submitted by /u/armaver
