Hi everyone, A few weeks ago, we had a blockage in our kitchen — the water wouldn’t drain, and we had to call in a professional to clean the pipes. According to him, the cause was grease buildup. Now the property management has sent us the bill, which is quite hefty (CHF 500). We’ve only been living in the apartment for 1.5 years, and we’ve been careful with what we put down the drain. How is it possible that we caused such a blockage in that time? Could it not have been caused by previous tenants? Also, is it possible to dispute this charge?
