So, I’ve noticed this the last couple of days, and for me, this has been consistent. I wait for it to reset, then start a new coding session in the app on my mac. It shows the tokens and I have the tab with my account usage open next to it. Every time I refresh the tab, it follows quite closely the token count up to 100k tokens where it stops because session is full. It did not used to be like this, this is new for me!! I used to be able to code quite serious projects and fun stuff and never ran out in a session if I didn’t do anything crazy with Opus, but then it was expected. Of course I can’t prove it has changed or that I’m throttled, but I’ve been able to replicate this a couple of times now, and it didn’t use to be like this! I’ve even gave it a “spec_doc.md” to code that I made in early March (before the 2x promo mind you) and it ran out of tokens for this completely fresh session before it was done! In early March it completed the build and I had a few back and forth with it to fix some bugs! IN THE SAME SESSION!! 0_o Come on Anthropic, I love Claud and agree with your stance on how AI should be used, but this is not fun at all! Anyone else noticed this, or did I just get the bad deal on an A/B test that they’re running? submitted by /u/internetisforlolcats
