I used to get around 30 ping on west servers. After the GridMaster update it jumped to the exact same as east coast, sitting around 70 ping average (actually sometimes I even get better ping on east coast now). I assumed at first this was just a temporary issue, but after 5 months I haven’t heard any more news about this. I found some posts mentioning this around the time of GridMaster, this post in particular caught my attention. He claims after looking into it that the IP from all west coast worlds is pinging from New Jersey https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/1omy1ea/comment/nmucgxv/ Has Jagex ever brought attention or acknowledged this?
