I know some of you are ready to be outraged right now because I’m calling Meltbook (or OpenClaw, or whatever the hell it’s called this week) slop. But put down the pitchforks, those words didn’t come from me. They came straight from Peter Steinberger, the creator of OpenClaw himself. In a recent interview, when asked if he thought OpenClaw was the start of AGI or some existential threat, his reply was basically: “Nah, it’s just the finest slop.” that’s funny! because the Internet is calling Meltbook the “singularity” while the he creator is calling it "Art. or as he calls it “It’s a Reddit simulator. It’s slop.” crazy eh. While half the world is terrified that Moltbook is Skynet, the people who actually build this stuff know it’s just a mirror. It reflects our own drama back at us, and we fall for it every time. If the creator calls it “slop,” maybe we should stop treating it like a deity and start treating it for what it is: Slop! submitted by /u/forevergeeks
