I built this to scratch my own itch. Claude Code requires tmux for multi-agent teams, which means WezTerm users can’t use that feature out of the box. wezcld is a tmux shim — it intercepts the tmux commands Claude sends and translates them into native WezTerm splits. No tmux install needed.
- What: POSIX sh scripts that fake a tmux environment for Claude Code
- Who benefits: anyone using WezTerm who wants to use Claude Code’s agent/team features
- Cost: free, MIT licensed, open source
- My relationship: I’m the author curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/afewyards/wezcld/main/install.sh | sh run wezcld instead of claude. that’s it. https://github.com/afewyards/wezcld submitted by /u/MisterKnif3
