Hey everyone. Kinda deep question for you all. I’m living in the US, late 20’s, blue collar career. I personally have a problem with drinking as a way to shut off and calm down my brain. I was just reading a thread about a highly specialized industry asking about how many of them had a problem with drinking. Which led me to thinking, I’m a standard average joe, show up to work every day, pay the bills kind of guy. But I still might actually have a problem. How many others are in the same shoes? Is this a mostly blue collar issue or trend? I’m not pointing fingers, just curious to hear perspectives. Is this a much more pervasive problem than I once thought? submitted by /u/KJK_915
