I got there late and most women were already in conversations or “booked.” Realized I don’t make a strong first impression (got hit with “I have a bf”… at a singles event lol). Tried: “I saw you from across the room and would’ve regretted not saying hi.” It worked… okay-ish. Planning to go to more of these.
