All these dramatic “I’m switching” posts se getting super old. Feels like yesterday I was reading the same overly emotional posts with the actors reversed. If you are a serious developer you already know the challenges of being beholden to a single point of failure. Avoid that. Coding agents will be evolving rapidly for the foreseeable future. If you want to be successful you should just be ready to switch as needed (servers down, out of token, performance issues). Stop marrying yourself to one solution then acting like you’re going through a dramatic breakup when you need to switch. All my repos have Claude and agents .md files so workflows are interoperable. If you can’t afford both subs you are not the target market for these tools. I know that will make me sound like an asshole but it’s not a moral statement - it’s a serious one about who the tools are built for (developers, startup owners). submitted by /u/jco1510
