Opus 4.6 seemed to be getting dumb the last few weeks, so I downgraded my $200 max plan to do the $100 claude code and $100 codex plans. I ended up getting both claude code and codex to review my code for bugs, and getting codex to implement the fixes that both agreed on. However, I noticed that codex would implement the fixes wrong. Like, after a codex change, I’d ask both models whether or not the fix was done well, and 3 separate times, they agreed that there was a flat out error in the code, and that never used to happen with claude code. There was a period of time before claude code and after cursor got throttled, that every coding model was unreliable and consistently produced bug ridden code, and I’m afraid we might be going back there. submitted by /u/PMGIRAFFECHODE
