There seems to be two schools of thought I see 1- ai is coming for all our jobs. We’re gonna have about ten trillionaires with all the wealth and resources. While the rest of us are left fighting for what’s left. if we’re lucky, there will be an ubi to cover our basic necessities for survival and to stop three hundred million people from marching on washington after they lose everything 2- ai is being overhyped and oversold by the tech bros, for the amount of money being invested into these various ai programs. The roi is nowhere near where it needs to be and there’s a question whether or not or for how long investors will continue to cut blank checks to the tech bros to fund their pursuit of asi are either the truth , is it’s somewhere in between? submitted by /u/personofinterest1986
