At 12:50am EST on Friday, February 13th, all of my Claude Code windows and my Visual Studio Code app window all closed at the same time. All were running Claude Code or CC CLI. The only change form before the winnows all closed suddenly was that after the re-opened, the message “Update available! Run: brew upgrade claude-code Crashed My Terminal Windows” appeared. I’m used to seeing this, but it has never crashed anything before today. I’m not saying it 100% did crash things, but when there is smoke there is often fire. I’m curious if anyone else had a similar experience. submitted by /u/diystateofmind
