Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I’ve always played on desktop and I haven’t been able to figure this out. I got myself a new iPad recently and I find that with a keyboard and mouse attachment, it’s actually not too bad to do high-intensity PvM via the mobile client. The big obstacle I’m encountering though is setting up F-keys. Normally on my laptop I use F1-F5, or just 1-5 with enter to chat enabled. However I haven’t been able to find a way to enable enter to chat on mobile (probably because it’s not built for keyboards lol), and the iPad itself doesn’t register the top row of function keys in the same way, with (I believe) no way to remap them to actually work as F1-F5, rather than brightness and other iPad functions. When I use Apple’s Magic Keyboard the top row seems to work exclusively as iPad functions, and the game does not recognise those as F1-F5, no matter what I’ve tried, or what other keys I hold down. I’ve had better luck using an external wireless keyboard, where at least I can use those as F-keys in-game by holding Fn when I press them - which feels clunky because I’ve built muscle memory around just pressing the keys by themselves, but at least it works. Does anyone else play on iPad, and has found a better solution to this? Any tips would be appreciated 💛 submitted by /u/Euro_Twunk
