I am pondering leaving my wife because there is no love between us anymore, and we don’t have projects. Neither of us want kids. I think we both changed, we want different things, different lifestyles, and we grew weary of each other. The thing is, I’m scared as hell of loneliness. Through the years, she has become my main friend. I have my own friends and some family, but I feel that nobody knows me as well as she does. Guys who got separated from a long relationship (like more than 10 years), how did you handle this ? Did you rush to find a new girlfriend to fill the void ? Did you discover that loneliness is not that bad ? Did it make space for new friends, or better connections with friends ? How was returning to dating ? submitted by /u/Shoddy-Horse3220
