Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are closely related, but they are not the same. AI is a broad field focused on creating systems that can mimic human intelligence—such as reasoning, problem-solving, decision-making, and understanding language. It includes everything from rule-based systems to advanced neural networks. Machine Learning , on the other hand, is a subset of AI that specifically focuses on enabling machines to learn from data without being explicitly programmed. Instead of following fixed rules, ML models identify patterns in data and improve their performance over time through experience. In simple terms, AI is the overall concept of intelligent machines, while ML is one of the key techniques used to achieve that intelligence. submitted by /u/fenngjo
