Hi, I have dreamed of having a sweet 16 ever since I was little and I’ve been researching lately on everything so I can start to get an idea of what I want to do and such. I want to have a big, pink, very dramatic sweet 16 with a nice dress and everything. I’ve been watching a lot of Quince Diaries and Rent-a-chambelane videos online, just to binge watch, and I’ve been thinking about how much I want some type of dance segment. In a Quinceanera, there’s usually some type of waltz and a surprise dance with the birthday girl’s court, and I really want something like that. I wasn’t sure if it was “allowed” per se because I am white and in pretty much every sweet 16 video I see online, there isn’t a dance segment. I wanted to dance to something light and girly, like ABBA, but overall wasn’t sure if it would be okay since most or all the sweet 16’s I’ve seen don’t have a dance and it would seem like I was trying to make it more like a quince or anything.
