I lost my phone recently and when I was done backing it up I no longer had my authenticator codes on my phone. After relogging into all my old gmail accounts still no codes. When logging back into osrs they asked for my authenticator code, which I can’t access, and I can’t find my 10 backup codes. So I submitted a ticket asking for help… First they prompted me this: If you don’t have access to your account or email Log in to your account (don’t worry you won’t need to enter your authenticator code) Select ‘Lost your authenticator?’ Follow the instructions sent to your registered email address to disable your authenticator If you don’t have access to your email you’ll need to submit a recovery request first The first thing it asked for when I logged in following these steps was my authentication code… So I submitted another ticket and was responded to by jagex support saying the same thing over and over: I understand the request that you are making, but unfortunately we are unable to manually assist in situations where access to an authenticator has been lost and this is preventing login when we’re unable to confidently verify ownership of an account. We have strict criteria to adhere to, and after review we’re unable to approve the recovery request as the verification criteria was not met. I gave them, my email login, my old account email, membership purchase IDs, my actually ID, my zip code, and the last 4 digits of the card on my account. They will NOT tell me what I am not providing so they can confirm ownership of my account. Do anyone know how to get out of this endless loop of pointless responses from their support that clearly are not helping? Please and thank you! submitted by /u/Bigtoadds
