If you don’t know what I mean, a canon event refers to something that happens to you and becomes a formative experience for better or for worse. It is a reference from “across the spiderverse”. This could be something cringe or embarrasing to something traumatic. So what was this for you guys and how did it change you? For me it was seeing my dad hit my mom for the first time in a parking garage, while the whole family watched. I was 6 at the time. I am 27 now, but i remember how my grades flunked hard and I lost nearly all my innocence. It was probably the worst day of my childhood. submitted by /u/Point-Overall
