I’m not usually a person that has brand loyalty. I’ll generally pick the best product for the job. Right now that’s Claude - Opus 4.6 and sometimes 4.7. I use it for 100% of my professional work at a senior level. But I absolutely cannot wait for when I can leave this garbage company. I defended them for a long time, then looked the other way on questionable decisions, and now, after reading the post where they won’t reimburse a user the $200 of credits that were billed due to their own acknowledged bug, im done. I literally just purchased a GPT5.5 small sub to start testing out to see if I can actually jump ship yet. We in this subreddit know about all the issues and poor choices they have been making. I love the idea of engineers dogfooding their own product. But the amount of bugs and broken crap being pushed into Claude Code on the daily is staggering from a 100b+ company. Where is the QA team?? why isn’t Mythos not catching any of this? I assume internally most of the devs are using Mythos and not Opus, hence why they haven’t noticed Opus isn’t that great. My colleagues and I personally sit back on the .77 version of Claude Code, with Opus 4.6. It follows our skills and instructions better than the latest does. I’m expecting people to say bye bye, more compute for us etc. I’m still on Opus and will continue to use it until I find a great replacement. But I’m not happy being here, this company has done such a bad job at maintaining rep over the last 3 months. They know their model is the best for agenting programming and it’s gone to their head. treating all their clients like shit. Regressions in both the models and harnesses, the limits everchanging for the worse, their policies changing for the worse, and their overall attitude towards every other product except their own. This isn’t just me, I have seen the posts on reddit, X, youtube. I used to ignore them, now I get it. Anthropic you guys really need to bring back some goodwill before everyone jumps ship. submitted by /u/Hodler-mane
