4.7 is better on the complex stuff, debugging, system design, all that. but for the 70% of my day that’s just refactors and tests, i keep going back to 4.6. 4.7 sometimes wants to rewrite half the file when i asked it to fix one function. It’s fine on a new project, annoying when you have a 400 line PR open and you just want the one thing changed. 4.6 just does the thing. same setup either way (cursor + chatgpt/codex (for brainstorming to save on claude tokens) + claude code, coderabbit on the PR for the second pass) and the 4.6 runs feel less messy. fewer “are you sure you want me to delete this” moments am i the only one who hasn’t fully moved over or is everyone else seeing the same thing? submitted by /u/notomarsol
