So I’ve been a claude max subscriber for 10 months, and I’ve always enjoyed claude and been able to build a lot of projects using it. I’ve always read about model degradation and quality of output, however I’ve never felt that as everything was working fine, however around a week before Opus 4.7 dropped I felt quite the drop in quality from 4.6 but decided to stick with it since I thought once Opus 4.7 comes out everything will be back to normal, I honestly do not know if I just don’t know how to deal with it or if it has become absolute shit but this is not what I initially subscribed for, so now I am considering alternatives. I thought about running some local model on my device but there’s just no way it will outperform what claude does. Now I’m thinking of subscribing to GPT but the capabilities of claude code (not the model itself) is just way too good to move out of, can i just use gpt in my claude code or is that not possible?
