I’m gonna be honest, one major reason why the mere thought of an open relationship, polyamory etc. is so off-putting to me is that there’s massive power imbalance between men and women in that regard. If I were to open my regular relationship, my girlfriend or wife would have a significantly easier time finding new men to sleep with, whereas I, as an average to below average man, will struggle immensely. So, I wanted to ask how men in such situations think about it. Do you just deal with it? Do you and your partner put some quantitative limits on her to mitigate the power gap?
