So i as an overweight person who’s 5’7 and weighs 255 pounds i would like to know some ways i could motivate myself to be healthier. Like im the type of person thats a big no on vegetables as my tastebuds do not appreciate them so instead i eat fruits which work as an AMAZING alternative but thats not the problem i face. When i was about 11 years old and excited about the idea of working out my brother took me outside on a scorching hot summer day (i dislike the heat) and made me run laps around a track while calling me lazy for not wanting to do it because it was so hot outside and i couldn’t handle it. That killed the whole idea of working out for me. When i’m at home i dance a lot and jump around a lot and go up and down the stairs a lot which technically counts as working out but id like to experience something more than just dancing around until i cannot dance no more. I wanna lift weights and quit feeling weak Is there any advice for a guy like me? Let me know. submitted by /u/Technical_Injury_571
