I can’t exactly pinpoint from which date, but I believe it’s recently (this week most likely) that CC is holding itself back for 1 or 2 or even more than 2 minutes before starting to do real work, I feel like the Claude team has put some kind of wait function in their infrastructure in response to the surging token usage demand they can’t really serve at high quality manner. The whole user experience has totally flipped due to this change, I’m in the $200/month plan, before if I worked hard I can use up all the token budget and then give myself a little bit rest, now even if I kept my eyes on screen all day long and worked extremely hard, because of these waits, the token budge can’t even be above 60% of the max quota. Very bad experience, suddenly everything changed, I’m going to test other alternatives submitted by /u/Playful_Check_5306
