Lol, here I am just using my 5x Max plan to build loads of cool stuff at work and at home. Almost never hitting limits, and having great success. Examples: Built a multi-threaded rsync replacement that’s optimized for network storage and deployed both Mac M series and Linux x86-64 binaries - using by our engineers daily at work as it’s 6x faster than standard rsync for our use-cases. Finished v1 of a ConnectWise ERM replacement for our department - took all our workflows, implemented them for Engineering, Sales, Accounting, and Project management, worked with the stakeholders and tailored the entire system to do what we need exactly with no fluff - going live with in-production testing next week, and on success we’ll save $36k a year on our CW licenses. The pre-prod testing feedback has been incredibly positive. At home I’m hacking the firmware of my EOL Logitech Harmony Hub / Remote control so I can extend Its usability. Opus 4.6/4.7 walking me through the hardware hacking and firmware replacement building has been super fun. Maybe the complaints come from uber-ciders trying to run a 1m SaaS platform? I use it to augment my skills at work, and for hobby projects at home - It’s been fantastic and really fun. Just thought I’d bring some positivity in here for a change. submitted by /u/beskone
