I’ve been working in commercial contracts for the past year. I think I analyzed 100+ million $ worth of client contracts at the company. That number is fucking mind boggling to me I could spend a lunch reviewing 2 contracts that have an advance payment that is enough to pay my annual salary for the next 10-15 years. Somedays I would work extra hours to analyze and process contracts while I make 40k a year. I don’t understand how to describe that feeling, but I just feel this deep burn in my chest and heart once I see those numbers. It makes me feel like an ant.
