I met someone a couple months ago, and we get along really well. I actually like this person a lot, like as a person and a potential partner. They recently told me that they have HSV2, assured me that they are religious about taking their antivirals, and haven’t had an outbreak in years. There’s obviously risk involved of 1) it being passed on, and 2) of the relationship not working out and me walking away with HSV2. I feel torn between being mentally, emotionally and physically attracted to this person and also wanting to keep myself safe. submitted by /u/Dangerous_Zebra_543
