I don’t know if there’s a word for this, I’ll describe it the best I can. As opposed to normal text (such as writing this post) or any text input field, in terminal the navigation/selection with mouse is limited. When I make a typo or need to change something two sentences up, I can’t just click and move there, but have to navigate with arrow keys… which is ultra inconvenient. Is there a workaround? I used the Claude code extension in VSCode because of this, but that has its own limitations. So I’m back to using terminal (through VSCode). submitted by /u/Majkssss
