I am worried about my husband Hello All, I am looking for advice on a health problem I’m concerned about. I have approached him in my way but I don’t think its getting through. My husband is 5ft 8in. He weighs 140 lbs and so, technically, hes in the healthy range for his BMI. But, he lost weight super quick. He used to have thick thighs which I adored but are so skinny that it I wonder how its holding him up. His collarbones, AC joints are incredibly visible and it makes me sad. He walks alot but I think he’s not eating enough. He says during the day, he forgets to eat and over the past 2 years or so he has complained of intestinal problems. He did go to his general practitioner after my constant urging and of course, they did the general basics. Found he had high blood pressure but nothing outside of that. He had gone to a gastrointestinal Dr where they determined he might have diverticulitis (as a couple of years ago before he started dropping weight like this, he was on the couch for a week with pain and diarrhea. They NEVER did a colonoscopy which concerns me). I keep urging him that it would really give me peace of mind if he would get a colonoscopy just to put my thoughts at ease but he continues to blow me off saying hes OK. Ive started to convince myself that maybe hes ok but everytime he gets dressed I cringe because it looks so unhealthy and thankfully, hes never caught me looking like that but it breaks my heart. How can I encourage him to take this more seriously? Im genuinely so worried and I am at a loss here as a wife. submitted by /u/Intelligent-Wear4766
